Opportunity for Museums - National Arts Fundraising School Funded Places
Through the Museum Development Fund, which is currently supporting business
development activities in museums, Renaissance South East is offering ten fully
funded places on the National Arts Fundraising School (NAFS).
NAFS has been running for over 20 years and is the UK’s only comprehensive fundraising
programme designed specifically for arts and cultural organisations. NAFS is a
six day residential course, covering many different aspects of fundraising,
including major donors, sponsorship, trusts and foundations and individual giving.
What will be covered?
The six day course includes:
· Strategy tools (tools to build a strategic fundraising plan)
· Researching sources and techniques
· Trusts and foundations
· Relationship fundraising
· Legacies
· Major donors
· Effective communication skills
For full details of the six day programme you can download the NAFS booklet at:

How to apply for a place
As demand for the programme is expected to be high, places will be allocated
through a competitive application process. The application form is very brief and
focuses on the need for the organisation to develop fundraising practices and
commitment to the programme. It is recommended that you discuss your
application with your MDO before applying (details below).
